New season!

kissmeprobieSo, season 9 starts airing tonight in the US (Lucky Canada has had it already -- who knows how long the rest of us have to wait?). Are you ready?
I know season 8 didn't bring us much to flap about for our beloved twosome (sadly), and no doubt that's one of the reasons it's a little quiet around here. But maybe they'll bring it for season 9. We can hope, right? After all, the odd numbered seasons do seem to be the best ones for our boys.
So here's a little pre-season warm up to get us remembering why we love these guys so much:
Tell us your favourite Tim/Tony moment so far. Was it a look? A scene? A random hug? What made it special to you?
And then tell us if you had your way, what would happen to Tim and Tony this season. If you want to imagine where they might actually go with the subtext/friendship, go ahead. If you prefer to think up wild and wacky theories of things that would never happen on screen but you'd love to see, post that, too!
Can't wait to see what you come up with. :D

But the one that I always think of first is the moment in...the one that comes after Twilight, when Tim finally gets up the nerve to go see Kate. Tony coming up behind him to reassure him--and he rubs his thumb back and forth over Tim's shoulder. That little touch says everything to me.

I also love how bitter Tim is when he's giving Tony and McCadden a smush name because so often it seems that Tim doesn't know what to do with Tony's attention and just wishes he'd go away, but that jealousy makes it clear that he actually does value it and misses it when it's gone. Aww.
(I just watched the season opener, btw. Weatherly KILLS it. And is deeply, deeply hot.)

My favourite is a tie between "he had me at howdy" and the whole therapist thinking they're a couple thing.
I would love to see more partnership. Seeing Tim and Tony spending time outside of work together (gaming!)

Not sure when the new season is on over here. It's usually a couple of weeks behind, yes?

Other favourite moment are Tim pinning Tony in the shrink's waiting room, and Tim pulling Tony from the car park wall.

And I just hope to get more scenes with them together, just them. You can see, my wishes aren't big ;)
Did you see Restless (episode 9.02)? I won't spoil you, but I think you'll like it very much. Makes me very hopefull for the rest of series 9.
