Please, if it happens correct me!

Help with writing inspiration
Jun. 21st, 2010 05:35 pmI've been struggling with writing lately, and I think it's because I haven't found the right musical marinade for my current stories. So I figured I'd see if I could get some help from the wonderful KMP writers. :)
When I was writing Razor's Edge, especially in the latter stages of the story, I let my brain soak in Missy Higgins' "Where I Stood" while I was writing. I had been reminded of the song while watching Recoil and the more I listened to it, the more I realized it captured the Tony/Tim/Abby dynamic I was trying to write in RE. So I started putting it on repeat while writing with some really good results.
So I'm looking for some song recommendations for a few current and future stories. I'll give the themes, rather than the plots. These aren't all T2 fics, or even all NCIS, and I'm not going to say which themes go with which stories because I don't want to influence suggestions.
- Torn between two paths, one that the head suggests and one the heart suggests
- Making a difficult choice
- Forcing yourself to step back and let somebody make their own mistakes
- Having to trust somebody who's hurt you before
- Hiding something from the person you love to protect them
- Making a unexpected choice that shatters people's perceptions of you, even your perception of yourself
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!

*is not really here*
Oct. 10th, 2009 03:55 pmI'm avoiding work with a lot of fannish thingies, one of them is this video of Sean and Michael talking about their scene in Inside Man.
http://videos.team-ncis.com/video_699_interview_et.html
It's spoilery, not for the plot, but for the funniest scene of the episode. Worth it for Sean pushing Michael to strip.
A few images behind the cut.
( Like Die Hard 9, or whatever they're up to. )

GENERAL WARNING: Hackers on L_J
Mar. 9th, 2009 12:08 pmHey guys, I wasn't very active here for some time and I'm thankful for the lovlely work angel_negra did. *sends hugs and kisses*
I'm posting now, because of a very disturbing trend some of you might have heard of?
It seems that some jackasses have hacked live journal communities and deleted all their posts.
The hackers have targeted large communities and their administrators and moderators. They deleted content and put up an announcement that the community will close down. That post has several links in it that all lead to fake sites which will download spyware onto your computer. So if you ever see such a post on any community please don't click on the links.
Now we're not that big of a comunity, but I wanted to warn you about it just in case you haven't heard, yet.
