New season!

So, season 9 starts airing tonight in the US (Lucky Canada has had it already -- who knows how long the rest of us have to wait?). Are you ready?

I know season 8 didn't bring us much to flap about for our beloved twosome (sadly), and no doubt that's one of the reasons it's a little quiet around here. But maybe they'll bring it for season 9. We can hope, right? After all, the odd numbered seasons do seem to be the best ones for our boys.

So here's a little pre-season warm up to get us remembering why we love these guys so much:

Tell us your favourite Tim/Tony moment so far. Was it a look? A scene? A random hug? What made it special to you?

And then tell us if you had your way, what would happen to Tim and Tony this season. If you want to imagine where they might actually go with the subtext/friendship, go ahead. If you prefer to think up wild and wacky theories of things that would never happen on screen but you'd love to see, post that, too!

*points up* Shirt exchange, really not to be topped. But the one that I always think of first is the moment in...the one that comes after Twilight, when Tim finally gets up the nerve to go see Kate. Tony coming up behind him to reassure him--and he rubs his thumb back and forth over Tim's shoulder. That little touch says everything to me.

I'm gonna be unoriginal and go with the above answer of when they're both down to see Kate in autopsy. Especially since Tony was kind of a dick before, up in the bullpen; it's one of the only times he actually lashes out at Tim with intent to hurt. The contrast between that and the caring and gentleness down in autopsy is awesome, I think. Tony going, "I can't actually come out and say I'm sorry, but I am, please let me make you feel better somehow."

Definitely the moment in autopsy with Kate. I'd like to see them rebuild that bromance this season, back to where it was. I thought it got forgotten about in the ending eps. Such a pity. And partner them more often. Don't want to see Tim going back behind that desk all the time!

My favourite is a tie between "he had me at howdy" and the whole therapist thinking they're a couple thing.

I would love to see more partnership. Seeing Tim and Tony spending time outside of work together (gaming!)

I like the conversation over the Nutter butters after Tony's been neglecting Tim to get all bromancey with that over guy. :)

Hi! New around here.

The one that had me thinking 'they're doing it or will be Very Soon' was in Probie when Tony turns up at Tim's, dressed to kill, and starts rifling through his wardrobe. Other favourite moment are Tim pinning Tony in the shrink's waiting room, and Tim pulling Tony from the car park wall.

Favourite moment: Guilty Pleasures, when McCadden insults McGee and Tony says: "There is no better". But I like all the other previous mentioned moments to.

And I just hope to get more scenes with them together, just them. You can see, my wishes aren't big ;)

Did you see Restless (episode 9.02)? I won't spoil you, but I think you'll like it very much. Makes me very hopefull for the rest of series 9.
