Rating: PG13 (subject to change for later chapters)
Pairing: DiNozzo/McGee
Summary: Tony decides that a guys night with McProbie is just what the doctor ordered to cure his boredom. He doesn't know is that he's about to get more than he's bargained for. SLASH.

Dedicated to my awesome wife, who gave me the plot idea to start this fiction.

Note: This is my first NCIS fiction, and my first NCIS slash. I do hope I did the characters, the fandom, and this ship justice.

Rating: PG-13
Length: 10,000 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: Now what do they do?
AN: Really important author's notes on this chapter.

First, this one comes with a hankie warning. Kyrie's read the penultimate and antepenultimate scenes at least a dozen times and still cries during them. Wanted to give you fair warning. If you messaged me earlier concerned about a particular storyline and where it might go — you know who you are — this is the chapter you might want to skip.

Also, because of the storylines, characters are considering paths you might or might not agree with. I've tried to keep the thoughts as authentic to the characters as possible. If you disagree with a character's thoughts, please pause and consider whether you think it's something that character in that situation might think, say or do before blasting me. If you still think it's OOC or poorly written, fire away.

Chapter 41

Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 4600 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: Tim wants his Tony back...
AN: As always, huge thanks to Kyrie for editing and to everybody for your reviews! And sorry for the delay. It went up on time on FF.net, but then I got sidetracked with the Jesse Stern episode T-shirt and resulting JesseStern Appreciation Day celebration antics on Twitter. Fortunately, we didn't scare Jesse. But if I were him, I'd be worried about what the cast and crew might have planned, since some of them are notorious practical jokers... (And for those who asked: Steve Binder's up next, in time for Kill Screen, his next ep. We can't squeeze Frank and George in in time for theirs next week, but they're coming, too. Thankfully, Cat compiled a list of their eps through mid-S7 that will help!

Chapter 39
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 4600 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: It's been a long week and everybody's ready for a break.
AN: Sorry for skipping last week, gang. It was a perfect storm of a week for work and I decided that to preserve what was left of my sanity something had to go. The end of this week isn't looking much better, but the next chapter is almost done — one scene to go that I'm finishing up tonight. As always, huge thanks to Kyrie for editing and thanks to the NCIS tweeps for keeping me sane last week — Sandbar17, TaylorGibbs, Harempriestess, Serenagarde (who let me borrow her name for Josh's new GF!), Rocks_and_bugs, Joyltom, MargyNCIS, Smackalicious and a bunch of others I'm forgetting. And a special thanks to Jesse Stern, whose smile tweet had me grinning through most of the hellishness. :)

Chapter 38
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 5500 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: Tony and Tim team up to get the information Vance needs, then they revisit Tony's past.
AN: Huge thanks to everyone who reviewed the last chapter - life's been so crazy I haven't had time to reply to them, but I'm hoping it will settle down soon. This is my last week working six days at my FT job, at least for a while, so I might finally be able to get a bit ahead. Kyrie's ready to kill me for not finishing chapters until the day before I post. :) On that note, no update this Wednesday — it's a super-crazy week and there's just no way.

Chapter 37
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 2700 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: Can the team find the answers? And what happens when they do?
AN: Another short one - I've been so swamped with work that I got behind and Kyrie sent me back twice for a rewrite on a chunk of what was supposed to be this chapter last night. We still couldn't get it nailed down, so I settled on a shorter chapter rather than no chapter today. :) Huge thanks to Kyrie for editing, especially when I'm writing last-minute the way I have been the past few weeks. Fortunately, my schedule gets much less crazy in two weeks! Also, did not see Recruited until after I wrote this, so any similarities to the Vance-Gibbs discussion of the issue are completely coincidental.

Chapter 36
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 2600 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: So just what is going on with this odd case? And what are Jimmy and Abby up to in Louisana?
AN: This is a short one, for case-related reasons. And if you're curious about the hinkiness of the case, there are two clues in this chapter that combined will let you figure out what's going on - if you can find them. ;)

Chapter 35
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 3900 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: They have a plan - now what?
AN: Thanks, as always, to Kyrie for her wonderful editing. :)

Chapter 34
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 4000 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: The team members struggle to deal with the situation with Josh
AN: Thanks to all the good wishes for my muses - life slowed down and the plot bunnies did enough hopping for me to get this chapter written. It's short, mostly for story reasons, but there's a fair amount packed in. Huge thanks, as always, to Kyrie for her stellar editing, especially on the first scene. It took me a few drafts to get it right.

Chapter 33
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 7000 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: Ducky and Gibbs stake out the coffee shop, joined by Burley. Does Ducky have good news for Sarah?
AN: Happy New Year! I figured out this week that I wrote about 475,000 words in 2010, and I didn't start until March. Not bad coming off a five-year fiction-writing hiatus. :) Unfortunately, between work craziness (ask for a quiet desk shift and you get a plane crash) and holiday plans, writing time has been tough to come by the past couple of weeks, so I only have one chapter written after this one. I'm hoping to have 33 done to post next Sunday, but I figured I'd give some advance warning that I might miss a posting date. If I do, I'll just skip and post that Wednesday as planned. I'm hoping I won't have to, but then, I was hoping for a quiet night at work Friday, too.

Chapter 31
[identity profile] colorguard28.livejournal.com
Pairing/character: McGee/DiNozzo, Sarah/OMC, Jimmy/Abby
Rating: PG-13
Length: 6000 words
Disclaimer: Sadly, not mine — CBS and DPB own them. Fortunately, they let me play in this sandbox. :)
Summary: Tim's class — including a new addition — helps hunt down the serial rapist suspect
AN: Let me know in reviews/comments if you guessed who the unidentified person in the first scene is before Tim does. :)
