It's been super quiet in here lately, and I'm jonesing for some fluffy, cuddly fic. As I was surfing through Tumblr, I saw this pic, and for some reason it totally struck me as Tony and McGee, Tony on the bottom in his Ohio State hoodie, and McGee...Ok, so you kind of have to squint for him (um, really squint), but work with me here. I want sleepy, after a shitty work day, cuddling on the couch. I have no writing talent, so I'm hoping that one of the wicked awesome fic writers here can maybe be all inspired to write. A little something to get us through till the new season, yeah?

Comfort
Date: 2011-07-25 08:59 pm (UTC)After this awful case, Tony and Tim decided that they needed a little break; it was well deserved. Tim, however, was still troubled by the case, even as he changed out of his suit and put on jeans and a plaid shirt. When he emerged from the bedroom, he saw Tony lounging on the couch, wearing his favorite (worn) jeans and his old OSU sweatshirt, looking at the TV without really watching. Tim approached slowly. Tony looked up at him.
"C'mere, Tim," he said, holding out his arms.
Tim obeyed, climbing onto the couch, laying on top of his lover. He pressed his face into Tony's sweatshirt, just breathing in his scent. It was comforting. He could feel Tony's face at his temple, his stubble scratching lightly at his skin. Suddenly, images of that poor little boy flooded his mind unbidden. Tears pricked at his eyes and he stifled a small whimper. At that small noise, Tony understood, and he wrapped his arms tighter around Tim.
"It's okay, Tim. It'll be okay."
Tim buried his face deeper into Tony's sweatshirt, trying to erase the images from his mind.
(Just wrote this on the fly. I hope you like =3.. sorry for the lame title...)

Date: 2011-07-26 08:03 am (UTC)He had to stay late, really late, and finish up a mountain of paper work. Lots of filing, copying, signing, initialling, his pen running out of ink, finding a new one that's also dry, finally getting a working pen, rubbing his forehead, checking the time, and finally finishing.
Everyone else had already left for the night hours ago and he couldn't wait to get home to Tony, who was probably passed out in front of the TV watching something on Netflix. The only thing that could make his day better was to see him and hold him as soon as he got home.
The drive home took longer than McGee could stand, having to navigate around an accident that detoured him an extra 10 miles.
"1:25 AM," McGee sighed, he walked up to the door and let himself in. The lights were on and Tony was indeed laying on the couch, passed out, with some black and white movie playing on the TV. He had changed into a pair of jeans and his old OSU sweatshirt, which McGee has always liked for some reason - maybe because Tony looked good in grey.
McGee took a deep breath and dropped his jacket on the floor and decided to change out of his work clothes too. He had to shed all of the disappointment of the day. He came back into the room, and stared at Tony for a few minutes before crawling on top of him and laying his head on his chest.
"Heeeeeyyy, babe..." Tony gave a groggy grin and wrapped his arms around boyfriend.
"Hey, Tony," McGee replied softly and took in a deep breath of Tony, he must have showered because he smelled fresh and clean. Tony kissed the top of McGee's head,
"Sorry you had to stay so late..."
"It's okay...I was doomed to have a long shitty day. I'm just glad to finally be home with you. I missed you."
"Missed you too, Tim," Tony rubbed his back and gave him a squeeze. They went silent. Tony wrapped his legs around McGee's and held him close to his chest. He tried to re-focus on the movie but ended up falling asleep again, McGee was already fast asleep.
The end.

Date: 2011-08-24 04:53 am (UTC)Tony removed his eyes from the television as the slumbering body sprawled on top of him became restless and fidgety.
It had been a really long and trying investigation that had crossed over with Fornell and the FBI. Gibbs had been furious with Fornell when Tim was placed in danger and had been taken at gunpoint by the gang they had been tracking and Tony thought he would never get the image of finding Tim bound and gagged but with no blindfold in that tiny locked cupboard.
Bruising standing out on pale skin, a terrified look in the squinting eyes as his lover prepared for what he must have thought was another assault.
Tony tightened his grip on Tim as he began to whimper slightly, nightmares about darkness and no air plaguing his dreams and not for the first time in his life. Tony knew there would be nightmares tonight conjuring up old childhood scars for his probie.
“It’s ok Timmy, come on wake up.”
He felt the shuddering breath and knew the jerk signalled Tim was awake.
“T-Tony.” The shaky voice broke his heart.
“It’s alright Tim, I’m here and you’re gonna be ok.”
Tim slid up Tony’s body and buried his head near his shoulder to try and get closer. His hand sliding up Tony’s sweatshirt revelling in the feel of skin on skin.
Tony readjusted his arms and pressed a kiss into the side Tim’s neck, rocking the younger man until he felt his body go heavy in relaxation, a signal his lover was fast asleep again.
Reaching over Tony switched off the television before returning his arms around Tim, holding him closer, kissing his forehead and following him into a dreamless sleep.
Well, it HAS a couch
Date: 2011-08-28 04:33 pm (UTC)The couch
It wasn’t much to look at, quite frankly. It creaked, the legs were scratched, the fabric was thin and the colour used to be dark red but was now closer to soft pink at some places. But still, it was the best couch Tim ever had.
It was on this couch Tony and him had started their movie nights, where they had pizza and Tony would tell him every detail known to man about every movie they saw. And still, he would deny being called a “movie geek”.
This was also the place where they had their first kiss, awkward as it was. It took a while for them to get past it, but they did. And kiss two, three and all the ones after that didn’t take long to follow.
Not every moment spend on the couch was as memorable as the other. Sometimes, they would watch tv, drink a beer or have their dinner. Sometimes Tony would stretch out, putting his feed or his head on Tim’s lap, letting Tim stroke his fingers through his hair. Especially after a difficult case, they found it was a perfect way to relax.
Somehow, between all the cases, all the movie nights, the dinners and the just hanging out, the couch stopped being Tim couch. It became their couch. And Tim decides, as he softly strokes Tony’s hair, he was fine with that. There was no reason to go looking for a newer model.
